60GPM from a flowing well

Postby lwparchive » Tue Nov 06, 2012 4:21 pm

Hi,
I have a 1acre lot and am trying to figure the correct HP pump for my new deep well meant for irrigation. The drilling company tells me that the artesian well will hit around 400'this deep and will be free flowing. I
would like to get 60gpm out of the well. Can you please recommend the best
pump to do this? I am leaning toward a Gould GT20. Am I on track or
completely on the wrong road? Thanks! Jay

if the well is flowing, you could use a GT20 for this application. My only concern would be if the well changes and it no longer flows and your water level drops below 25', then you will have an issue.
