Centrifugal or booster pump

Postby lwparchive » Mon Nov 05, 2012 5:37 pm

I'm in the market to purchase a centrifugal or booster pump, and need a suggestion as to the one that is best suited for my needs:Booster pump is 150 lf from storage tank (1 1/2" pvc - level ground). Pump will furnish home and irrigation through pressure tank at house (50 lf from pump). Irrigation demand 10 - 15 gpm per station (one at a time). 1 in. to station valves, 3/4" to rotary heads....longest run to approx. 150 lf. Pressure tank 40 - 60 psi and would like to maintain this psi with booster pump.

Would a Gould GT15 or GT20 work well or is another more suitable.

Thank you,
John B

The GT series will not develop the output pressure that you require. You may want to look at the Aqua Boost system as long as you have a continuous flooded suction.
