Changing to a Sta-Rite HNE

I have a 2 inch well that is 32 feet deep. I do not know at what level the water is in the well. We have currently a sta rite centrifical pump Model # DS2hf which has been in use for 11 years. We are using the pump with pressure tank and switch for our water supply. The maximum pressure with this system has been 39 psi. Can I change out this pump to the 1 h.p. hne series to achieve more pressure. Will this pump work for irrigation? We have plenty of water flow, just not enough pressure. I know that it states
25 feet is the deepest for a well, but the current pump stated the same.

The HNE would not be a good replacement for you DS2. You are getting about 36 GPM at your 39 PSI reference. If you want more pressure, I would recommend going to the DS2HHG, if still available. The 25' referenced is not for well depth it is the distance from the top of the well to the static water level.
