5GS05411C GPM Range at 20psi

Postby lwparchive » Tue Nov 06, 2012 2:30 pm

I'm interested in the 5GS05411C submersible pump. Looking at its GPM range it states approximately 1.2 to 7 or so, as its working range. I have a 50' well and am wondering if the pressure were set at 20psi would I be in the lower GPM range? I'm asking as I may have a low capacity well with a low refill rate and would like a pump with the capability of 1.5 to 3 GPM at 50' just in case.

Thanks.

No, the lower the pressure requirement will allow the pump to produce a higher volume. In order for the pump to only produce 3 GPM, it would have to produce approximately 139 PSI to get the volume down to that level.
