Flow Sleeve

I have a 1/2 HP 10 GPM gould 2 wire pump in my dug well. The well is ~ 3.5 feet in diameter and 12 feet deep. Water level is at about 6 feet.
I'd like to install a "Cycle Stop" CSV1W valve and want to know if I need a flow inducer sleeve.

You will want to install the pump into a 4" or 6" sleeve. This will allow water to flow past the motor in order to keep the motor cool.
