Start Watts & Wire size

I have selected the 18GS15412C pump and I want to be sure my 8K generator will start it. What is the start up watts and the sKva for this 1.5 hp pump?

Also, what wire size should I use if the pump is 250' from the generator?

Sir,
Your 8000 watt generator should not have a problem starting the 1 1/2 HP motor. Number 12 wire is good up to 310', but, you also need to consider the depth where the pump is set. Number 10 wire is good up to 480' and number 8 wire is good up to 770'.
