Need to get rid of rusty water

Postby lwparchive » Fri Nov 09, 2012 4:31 pm

I live in SC & have a well for the lawn irrigation system. The water has a lot of iron in it and stains the concrete. Our home owners assoc. requires us to clean the rust. My landscaper has a used Stenner model 85MPHP5 pump and 30 gallon tank he suggests I install to add Rid O'Rust formula 500 to the pumped water to eliminate the rust. Is this the correct usage of these parts, how should I hook them up. Do you have any experience with
eliminating this kind of a problem??

yes sir that would work. you would need the pump , and a solution tank. you would have to install the ejector into you water line, and that should be it. Refer to the rid o rust container for proper dosing
