Using a smller tube in a Stenner

Postby lwparchive » Mon Nov 05, 2012 4:54 pm

Hi I have a Stenner pump for peroxide and currently needs a new tube. I believe it is a #2. I was told that I could possibly replace it with a smaller size and turn the volume on the pump higher. That way the pump wouldn't have to work as hard (possibly extending the life of the pump). Do you guys recommend doing something like that? The pump I have is a model #85MHP17 (220 volt pump).

Thanks,Dennis

The 85MHP17 pumps 17 gpd. Changing to a # 1 tube will give you a max. output of 5 gpd.
