Pump wont stay running in auto

Postby lwparchive » Tue Nov 06, 2012 3:53 pm

I have a V60 GM0409 A400 well pump and tank system. I am trying to get the system up and running from a long time of inactivity (approx 5 years.) When I first started this procedure I could get the pressure up to about 35 psig. It ran for awhile then quit. I have been working with it, I can get the water to run (through all the faucets, shower, sinks and out side valves) then it will quit. I repete the procedure several times (prolly 25 or 30 times) now and can not keep the water running.

The guage pressure will now only get up to approx 12 psig. When I kick it to auto it won't keep running. Could there Still be air in the system? The manuel that came with the system is not very helpfull, allot of tech. terms.

Any Suggestions?

Could be air in the system, or, you may have an issue with your water supply, or, the pump could be wore out.
