the submersible well pump quit working 07-01-2011 the pressure switch points were burnt and pitted, a new pressure switch of the same spec's, and make, was installed following the old wiring positions. not working at this time.

You will need to check your control box, if used. You may have a problem with the pump motor or the submersible pump wire in the well. I would check these items first.
