Pump not pumping solution

Postby lwparchive » Tue Nov 06, 2012 3:17 pm

I have an LMI unidose u041-281-TU to inject a chlorine solution into my well water system (to eliminate sulphur smell). The unit now fails to inject the solution. I have checked and/or replaced the univalves and triple checked that the univalves are installed correctly. I appears that the unit is not sucking up the solution.

I have filled up the suction tube with water prior to placing in the solution tank, and disconnected the discharge valve assy and filled the head with water - then reattached the discharge assy. When I turn the pump on it pumps liquid out the discharge valve for a few cycles then stops - presumably because the head no longer has any liquid and the pump is not
sucking any up.

I also noticed the Liquifram and a scale deposit built upon it so I replaced the liquifram. Still does not work.

Do you have any other solutions?

I have the pump turned up to 100%.

Thanks

HAVE YOU TRIED REPLACING THE SUCTION TUBING? IT MAY HAVE A PINHOLE IN IT , AND ITS SUCKING AIR
