Unidose pump losing prime

Postby lwparchive » Mon Nov 05, 2012 4:40 pm

I currently have a UniDose pump for chlorination of my well water. It has
been working well up until this point. It is approximately 5 years old. It
seems to keep losing its prime. u041-281 is the model that I have. Can
you advise of any suggestions to fix this issue?

CHANGING THE FOUR UNIVALVES IN THE SYSTEM SHOULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM . ONE LOCATED AT THE INJECTION POINT , ONE AT TOP OF PUMP , ONE AT BOTTOM OF PUMP AND ONE IN THE FOOT VALVE

this item arrived yesterday and I installed it with no problems. my effort to syphon the cholrine solution up, (with my mouth and suction) failed. air came through with little resistance.

If you are pulling air from the suction side the connection at the footvalve strainer assm. is not correct. Make sure all the Orings are in the proper position
