this item arrived yesterday and I installed it with no problems. my effort to syphon the cholrine solution up, (with my mouth and suction) failed. air came through with little resistance.
I have installed these before and had success sucking on the outlet tube to fill the pump head and lines with water, to effectively prime the system, this did not work yesterday.
Can you advise what I should do? I presume the new head is not defective.
