Adapter for the HSJ15

I live on a lake and have a pressure tank.
I am not sure whether I would need the shallow well jet package FHSJ15 for my application or not?
I just need to attach to a 1 1/4 inch intake (from lake with a foot valve) and out to a 1 inch to irrigation piping / sprinkler system.
The overall lift is less than 10 feet from water to the highest point. I do not have 220 power where the pump is located (in boat house).
Please let me know if I need the FHSJ15 and if this pump would be a good choice for my system. I have previously used a Dayton jet pump (1.5 hp) buy have found myself replacing this pump every 2 - 3 years. Looking for a pump that last longer and maybe has a little better performance. Need about 18 GPM for my largest sprinkler circuit at about 50 Psi.
