I am in need of replacing my home irrigation pump which is a Sta-Rite HNE Projet 1Hp that is about 8-10 years old. I am planning on replacing it with another Sta-Rite, however I am trying to compare differences between the current HNE ($430) and the SNE ($330). I am having a difficult time finding any information online and I was wondering if someone there could possibly advise me as to what the benefits (if any) would be to the more expensive pump. They appear to have the same specs from what I have seen.
Unfortunately, I do not know what GPM my system requires, but I can say that the old pump (the HNE) was more than adequate at running zones with up to five rotors on it that were quite far from the pump.
One last question I also had, was do you sell pressure tanks? I'm not seeing them on your website, but I am in need of a new one of those too (just need a 2 gal. 20psi model).
