Replace a GT15 motor

Postby lwparchive » Tue Nov 06, 2012 2:53 pm

Hi. I have an older (9 years) Gould's GT15 pump with a bad motor. The pump housing is plumbed in and not easy to change. Can I remove the motor-pump section of this unit and bolt it onto my pump housing? Thanks.

Yes, you can replace the motor without disturbing your plumbing. The motor you need is a UST1152. Also, you will want to purchase a replacement seal, part number 10K10.
