Pump for a cottage

Looking to buy 1/2 horse goulds pump. I need about 12 feet of lift, drawing lake water into cottage.

Typically, for a house we would recommend a shallow well jet pump. You would want to look at the J10S pump. Also, you will want to incorporate a foot valve on the end of your suction line.
