I just recently purchased the following pump...GT15 - Goulds Pumps IRRI-GATOR Self Priming Pump. I plan to water my lawn from the lake. Do you recommend placing an enclosure around the pump, or is it okay out in the weather?

You can place an enclosure around the pump as long as it has plenty f ventilation for cooling, otherwise, it will be fine exposed.
