GT15 output

Postby lwparchive » Tue Nov 06, 2012 4:00 pm

I have a GT-15 Gould pump and I love it. It is installed on a 2 inch
well----12 ft. 2 inch point and strainer. How many gallons per hr should
it be pumping.(I suspect it is flowing about 2300 gallons per hour. I wish to know if I am close. Also, I am thinking of installing a inch and a quarter (1 1/4 pipe inside the 2 inch casing of the well----with a foot valve. My question to you is ---how many gallons per hour should I get with this arrangement. The water is 16 foot below the surface. Look forward to hearing from you--Howard

If you were pump open discharge, you could get up to about 60GPM, dependent upon the water level in the well and whether or not the well can produce that volume.
